AbolitionThe Royal Mail stamp programme was established to commemorate key anniversaries in British history, important events and the contribution of the UK to world affairs. Abolition of slavery is a key part of British history and Royal Mail has decided to issue six stamps on the subject, featuring six individuals associated with the Abolition Movement.
